The Strong Gameplay NBA 2K16 is the Virtual Equivalent of a Player

The already strong gameplay receives a boost this year from a redesigned post game that lets
you back down players with a press of the left trigger, a welcome return to days of old.
Passing also received an overhaul, giving you three face buttons for lobs, bounce passes, and
the traditional toss. In time for the 2016 NBA All-Star Game, 2K Sports has rolled out the NBA
2K16 all-star update. Also, this week’s Xbox Live with Gold deals offers the massively popular
Basketball simulation video game half of its original price.

Discounts are also offered on the game’s add-ons while ‘Road to the Finals’ tournament begins
today, February 15. The NBA Trade Deadline recently ended and the second half of the season
has now started, so 2K Sports has released a roster update to include the most recent trades.
The NBA was active during the Trade Deadline. Rumors had Howard going to the Miami Heat but
that never happened. What did happen was the trade that sent Tobias Harris, Marcus Thornton
and Donatas Motiejunas to the Detroit Pistons. In return, the Orlando Magic received Brandon
Jennings and Ersan Ilyasova.

Earlier, 2K Sports announced the ‘Road to the Finals’ tournament that will converge players
from around the world to join the competition and get lucky to win a whopping $250,000 prize
pool. As reported by GameSpot, ‘Road to the Finals’ series will begin February 15 in North
American region with in-game events on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Players can create their
respective Pro-Am teams to compete in qualifying events. “Teams can participate in any of the
16 qualifying events where they will need to win at least four games in order to qualify”, 2K
announced.

In a recent NBA 2K16 report posted on Attack of the Fanboy, it was noted that several gamers
are having issues accessing the game’s online servers. This was confirmed by 2K Support via a
Twitter post, which also noted that they are looking into the issue. Miami Heat’s shot-
blocking center Hassan Whiteside became the best shot blocker of all time in “NBA 2K16”
following its recent roster updates in the second week of January. In addition to Whiteside,
other players who saw significant improvements on their ratings include DeMarcus Cousins of
the Sacramento Kings, Isiah Thomas of the Boston Celtics, Kemba Walker of Charlotte Hornets.
Tyreke Evans of the New Orleans Pelicans, Marc Gasol of the Memphis Grizzlies.

Double tapping these buttons gives you quick access to alley-oops and flashy passes as well.
Having these options at your fingertips is great for specific situations, but expect to still
use the icon-based passing because directional passing can occasionally misread your intent
and send a ball across the court instead of into the post. Developed by Visual Concepts and
published by 2K Sports, “NBA 2K16” hit the shelves on September 29, 2015 as the 17th
installment from the NBA 2K franchise series. Aside from Microsoft Xbox One and Xbox 360, the
game is also available for platforms such as Sony PlayStation 4 and PS3, Windows, iOS and
Android.
